Consultation and Analysis

We work collaboratively with clients to thoroughly understand their unique requirements—whether for new construction or retrofit projects—ensuring tailored engineering solutions that align with their goals and regulatory standards.

Site Evaluation

Our team conducts a comprehensive site visit to assess existing conditions and identify any equipment suitable for reuse, ensuring informed design decisions and cost-effective solutions.

Design and Planning

Once we receive the initial design and architectural drawings, along with base building information, we develop a detailed set of permit drawings within the agreed timeline. Throughout this phase, we proactively coordinate with architects, structural engineers, and other trades to identify and resolve potential conflicts early. We actively collaborate with all stakeholders—including landlords and owners—addressing concerns, resolving conflicts, and participating in meetings as needed to ensure a seamless, fully integrated design process.

Code Compliance and Review

We perform thorough code compliance checks and internal technical reviews to ensure the highest standards of quality, safety, and accuracy are met in every aspect of the design.

Drawing Submission

We submit physical or electronic drawings to the client for permit application and promptly respond to any municipal comments related to our scope of work. We collaborate closely with the architect to address technical questions or revisions necessary for permit approval.

Project Progress Clarifications

We provide timely responses to electrical and mechanical contractors’ questions, offering clear guidance to resolve on-site conflicts, alternate routes, materials, and equipment issues. Additionally, we conduct progress reviews and participate in meetings as needed to ensure smooth project execution.

Final Inspection and Closeout

Upon construction completion, we conduct a thorough final site visit to verify that all work meets design specifications and standards. Additionally, we review commissioning test reports and documentation submitted by contractors to confirm that systems perform according to the design intent before providing final approval. We also prepare and submit any outstanding documentation necessary to complete the project closeout.

Following closeout, we remain available to support our clients during the warranty period—responding to questions, reviewing system performance concerns, and providing technical clarification as needed.
Professional Licensing & Jurisdiction

We provide licensed engineering services across Ontario, British Columbia, and Alberta, with full compliance to all applicable municipal, provincial, and national codes and regulations. Our team operates under the authority of professional engineering associations in each province, ensuring accountability, technical accuracy, and legal compliance across every project we deliver.
